Meet Bryan George – who as of this writing is employed at the CoStar Group
Bryan used to work for now defunct Buy.com which was later purchased by Rakuten in 2010.
His brother Chris M. George – who was a highly respected leader at Buy.com at the time hooked him up with the job in 2002.
Because of his connections – Bryan was largely protected from consequences for his behavior towards other employees.
His initials spell BG, his nickname – which in this article you will see that the man known as Bryan George is a Bad Guy and a corporate psychopath.

Harassed a fellow employee until he was forced to leave.
Upon finding out that another employee was going to get a mobile developer position – Bryan George went psycho and began engaging in harassing behavior which included:
- Staring at this employee in a hostile manner – the entire day – every day – for two months until this employee left.
- Slander
- Character assassination
- Snooping through his trash when he was away from his desk.

Obviously this is alarming and illegal behavior that would make anyone want to leave and go to a more stable company with stable and ethical people – not like Bryan George.
Encouraged Employee to Blackmail Two Employees Involved in a Relationship With Each Other
But it wasn’t just the above situation that calls into question the psychopathic character of Bryan George.
That’s because after a co-worker informed him that he witnessed two employees making out in the parking lot, Bryan George allegedly told this employee that he should blackmail them because in Bryan George’s words, “that’s how it’s done.”
Luckily, this person had enough sense not to listen to Bryan – but it really shows us how depraved Bryan George actually is.
Unfortunately, there are people like Bryan George out there, and they get away with their behavior because they’re good at hiding what they are to others and end up getting believed and supported by everyone around them.
Assaulted Coworker After His Team Lost a game of Volleyball
If you didn’t think things couldn’t get worse – you were wrong.
It turns out that while Bryan was at Buy.com/Rakuten, some employees would get together after work for a variety of activities.
One of those activities was Volleyball as evidenced below: 
During one match where Bryan’s team lost, Bryan assaulted one of the teammates from the other team by pushing him as hard as he could to the ground.
Nothing was done and no one even reacted like it was a normal thing.
Once again, Bryan George faced no repercussions for his outrageous behavior.
Was The Sr. Software Developer as Consumers Lost Their Credit Card Numbers on the Rakuten Shopping Website
He would later leave the Buy.com/Rakuten in 2014 for New York.
But in 2013, Rakuten began having security issues on their public facing site – the same site Bryan worked on as the Sr. Software Engineer.
In 2013, while Bryan was still the Sr. Developer, Rakuten began having security issues with their website as consumers were getting their credit card numbers stolen after using the check out page as evidenced below:
And we can see that Bryan George was one of the key players on the site by his own admission on his LinkedIn during that time – he left in April of 2014: 
Though when you look at his LinkedIn, he still refers to Buy.com – a strategic move on his part because it was under Rakuten that the credit card numbers were stolen.
So it looks like that on top of not being a good person – Bryan George is also not a good software engineer as well.
Hopefully – for the sake of his current employer – he has improved himself on both fronts.

That’s probably how he rationalizes his alleged depraved behavior – he does mean and stupid things from time to time – and can move on from it real easily as if nothing happened.

In short – Bryan George is a dangerous person who is good at hiding it. So beware!
